Billy Sunday - Deborah Kraft (Summer 2026)

Deborah Kraft is a Chicago-based sculptor who uses mass-produced photographic images and traditional jewelers' techniques to create intricate paper forms at miniature scale. Assembled into low-relief fields and installations, her work explores the tension between image and objecthood, recognizability and abstraction, and the impulse to collect, sort, and assign meaning.

Deborah Kraft (b. 1988, Davenport, Iowa) is an artist living and working in Chicago, Illinois. Her solo exhibitions include Taxonomies of Pretend at the Box Office at Ox-Bow School of Art and Artists’ Residency, Saugatuck, Michigan; Every Beautiful Thing at the Museum of Museums, Seattle; and Deborah Kraft: Monuments to Earthly Wonders at Relativity Textiles, Chicago. Upcoming solo exhibitions include projects at NEIU Fine Arts Center Gallery, Chicago, and Quad Cities International Airport, Moline, Illinois.
